A very often
problem of this instrument is the spill-over of the batterie
which is for the holding the datas of the memory. The
electrolyt condensator corrodes the way to the PCB, which
leeds to notfunctioning of the instrument. The desk is then
sometimes repairable and sometimes not, depending on the
amount of the damage.
Further on the poly6 I met bad lm 13600 (dual transconductance
amlifiers). If this happens, the instrument is not possible to
adjust pricisely.
Because the
electronic components, mainly condensators, change their value
while aging, every vintage analog instrument needs
sooner or later a new adjustment of the original fabric values.
This adjustments are made by trimmers on the base of the
instructions of the producer.
